December Christmas Day!

We had a fairly relaxing Christmas morning. We decided to stay in town and open presents in the a.m. then spend the afternoon/evening at Haley's Sister Stacy's house. Shalyn loved her Stocking Stuffers but the best present was her roller skates & skateboard. Believe it or not she asked for them.

Having two weeks off for christmas break is quite nice. In order to pass some time we decided to bake some cookies for the family, make smores, and go to the zoo!

December Boat Parade & More

We visited the annual downtown Jacksonville Christmas Boat Parade! Shalyn loved the lit up boats and watched them pass by. She saw Santa, some singing elvis's, boats with plenty of xmas lights and even a submarine (pretend).
She made a present for her friend Bretton and went to her friend Salena's concert.

Shalyn loved the airport and it was her first time flying since she was 3months old!

5th Annual Florida Vs Georgia Tailgate Party

The world's largest outdoor cocktail party held up to its reputation.
Every Year the tailgate seems to get better/bigger but the end result got worse?
Anyway, we all had a great time downtown even though the weather was off & on.

Happy Halloween!

2007 Halloween weekend was jammed pack and loads of fun. Thursday Night Shalyn wore a monkey costume for trick or treating but she also wore a pirate outfit during Haley's School parade.

On Saturday Night, Haley and I took Shalyn to her first SPOOKTACULAR at the Jacksonville Zoo. It was full of people and activities. I wore my Gator gear b/c they were playing Kentucky that night. GO GATORS!

Then on Wednesday Night (Halloween Night)...
Sue, Eric, and Uncle Adam came over to see Shalyn. We grilled out on the front driveway and took Shalyn to the neighbors for candy. We had some friends come over as well.

Haley's School Carnival was awesome. They had an inside trick or treat and an outside Carnival. Shalyn loved going on the bouncey's and super slides.
